Hochzillertal: An Amazing Mountain With Breathtaking Activities and Views

During the winter time, there are plenty of activities available since Hochzillertal is a top ski destination. There is a one-of-a-kind sports center, numerous floodlit toboggan runs, many inns and wellness centers, a terrain park, and even ski tours and ski-schools. For those who want something a little bit slower, there are pristine trails for winter hiking.

During the summertime, the ski huts and rental shops are open for those who want to peek inside and gear up for the winter. So there are plenty of lakes, sports programs, alpine tours, canyoning, camping, and incredibly biking routes on the many trails.

One of the most attractive activities though is the Zillertaler Hohernstrasse which is a Zillertal alpine high road. Especially relevant is that provides an amazing experience through the Zillertal Alps. This journey takes visitors all the way up to altitudes of 2,020 meters above sea level by bus, car, or bike and provides breathtaking bird’s-eye views down a fifty-kilometer panoramic road. All hiking and biking tours and trails are accessible via the hotel as they all start and end near it. The kitchen/restaurant is of the highest quality, serving traditional and excellent cuisine.
