The high-tech cable car takes you up to the Penken where the notorious Harakiri and Penken Park entice action lovers with thrills galore. LEISURE MOUNTAIN AHORN: MORE THAN JUST SKIING
To get there you take the Ahornbahn – Austria’s biggest cable car. Awaiting you on the Ahorn Plateau there are wide,
sun-drenched, family-friendly carving pistes as well as the Funslope Ahorn for young and old alike. And Mayrhofen has lots of alternatives for more easy-going winter lovers, too. How about a winter hike on the panorama circuit trail with a superb view, for example? Or why not drop into the White Lounge? An Igloo Village and hip bar by day, at night it turns into a romantic hotel with cosy Igloo Suites at an altitude of 2,000 metres. Another unforgettable option that was newly added last winter: Snow Limo Tours on the Ahorn Plateau. The passenger is chauffeured over the pistes in a sled on two skis. And if you want to treat yourself to regional delights, be sure to stop off at the Café-Bistro Freiraum. Here, an inviting sun terrace and spectacular architecture perfectly match the winter setting.

GENIESSERBERG AHORN: MEHR ALS NUR SKIFAHREN
Nach oben geht es mit der größten Gondel Österreichs, der Ahornbahn. Am Ahornplateau warten sonnige, breite und familienfreundliche Carvingpisten sowie die Funslope Ahorn für Groß und Klein. Und auch für die etwas ruhigeren Wintergenießer bietet Mayrhofen zahlreiche Alternativen an. Wie wäre es zum Beispiel mit einer Winterwanderung auf dem Panoramarundweg mit beeindruckender Aussicht? Oder einem Besuch in der White Lounge – tagsüber Iglu Dorf und angesagte Bar, abends romantisches Hotel mit kuschligen Iglu Suiten auf 2.000 Meter Höhe.
