The ski area is child and beginner friendly due to its milder exercise slopes and training runs.

Plus, recent renovations have brought a new cable car railway, which opens up the possibilities of more activities for everyone. A new 5.5km toboggan run. Also, new winter hiking trails that take you to the mountain’s peak, and a new sports shop ensures that every day on the mountain is enjoyable. Other skiing amenities include free ski buses throughout the region, a ski rental station, a Kindergarten Zwerged Club (babysitting services), a shuttle bus that goes between Panoramabahn Geols and Hochfügen. So a mountain restaurant, cosy mountain huts, and a flat conveyor for those on the beginners’ slope.

Summer in Spieljoch

In the summertime, vacation-goers can enjoy the large network of trails that span throughout the Zillertal valley. There is 1,000km worth of hiking trails and 850km worth of mountain bike trails. In Fügen, there are also thermal baths, a 133m length adventure slide, and even bubbling grottos to enjoy.  Otherwise, history buffs can make a short trip over to Fügenberg.
